Nicola Fletcher nominated for 'NVQ Star of the Year Award'!

We are delighted to announce that Nicola Fletcher, our second chef, has been nominated as a star of the year, in the annual NVQ awards.  Nicola is currently completing her professional cookery accreditation in the NVQ process and has exceeded the expectations in all levels in each category she has so far completed.  There are just 11 nominees for the awards, and the results are to be announced at a dinner in Nottingham in March 2012- watch this space!  We try to develop all of our teams at The Blue Bell, encouring all those who wish to develop to complete the NVQ process, in addition to the in house training  to certifcate level on Food Safety and Health & Safety. Nicola has also just been awarded runner up in 'most promising candidate' category at the recent nottinghamshire local awards.

Gluten Free Menu

We have reviewed our full menu and have identified all the gluten free options.  Our gravy and sauces are all gluten free and we have gluten free bread and melba toast to accompany many of our dishes.  We have gluten free yorkshires to accompany your sunday roast, and even gluten free crackers and chutney so you can enjoy cheese and biscuits!

Healty Eating with our Turbochef!

We cook the majority of our main meals in a Turbochef Oven - this is a specialised oven that enables us to cook main meals up to 12 times faster than conventional methods and uses no additional oil or fats - which gives you a healthy and nutritious meal!

This means we cook all our meals to order and ensures that you the customer receives a freshly prepared quality meal!
